The Estate

01History

A place-name, a chapel, a terroir.

The locality of Saint-Lannes takes its name from the neighbouring chapel. A Romanesque monument (12th century), it sits at the heart of the Ténarèze country — a landscape of rolling hills shaped by magnificent clay-limestone terroirs.

Surrounded by quarries where the limestone surfaces here and there, Domaine Saint-Lannes produces rich, concentrated wines, strongly marked by a “terroir” character of uncommon typicity.

“The elegance of Gascony reveals itself in every cuvée.”

02The Family

Three generations

The estate was founded in 1955 by the Duffour family. Nicolas succeeds Edilbert, his grandfather, and Michel, his father. A genuine family identity at the service of the terroir.

Since 1982, the family has been evolving its production with one aim: respect for the terroir, the showcasing of local grape varieties and the pleasure of tasting.
